Built in 1926 by Architects Rapp & Rapp, this former theater was one of the largest in the Midwest, seating 4050 people. In the 50's, it was one of the first to show 3-D movies. The Michigan Theater closed in 1970 and became a place for live rock concerts. In 1976 it closed again and was turned into one of the most unique and beautiful parking garages you'll ever see.
